Punkins

Since there's not much for Ian to do when it comes to carving pumpkins, Dan and I decided to let Ian paint his pumpkin this year. We put his little art desk in the kitched and whipped out the finger paints.

Today, Ian gets to "trick or treat" at school. He also gets to dress up in his costume! Fun!!! Pictures of that to come this weekend.

Working in Photoshop

So I am busily working on projects for Christmas. I completed a couple pages of a scrapbook - and I'm getting faster! These 3 pages only took about 2.5 hours total. It's going to be a long road, but I am going to try to do a 70 pager before Thanksgiving. Yikes!

Greenbluff

Yesterday we trekked up to Greenbluff to pick pumpkins, enjoy cider, and take in all the festivities of Apple Festival. Ian had another agenda. His nap was interrupted so crankiness set in. We were only able to hit 3 farms before he insisted we go home - without pumpkins even. He did get a pony ride in though. We may try again next weekend, depending on weather.

I Want To Make Soap

Things are so chaotic right now --- maybe once the dust settles, soap making can begin/resume.

Sorry Heather!! I know we planned on having soap done this month but there is just no way right now. However, don't worry, the creative process is still culminating and is very much alive here. It's just the timing.

Ian's birthday is coming up and his party is next Friday. I am thinking that I need to just enjoy the month of October with the kids and the family and come November we can focus on soap.

Ahhhh soap. I love it. Guess what everyone gets for Christmas this year?
