Looking at the calendar for the next couple months, we have a lot of upcoming events!
For one, my birthday is in a week! Yay! We are going to the Melting Pot to celebrate :) It was a tradition in Seattle and now that Spokane has embraced fondue, our tradition will continue. My mom, sister, and I are looking forward to Sex and the City on Friday!!
We are also have a yard sale soon, to get rid of things taking up space and make room for baby. Ian has appointments coming up for his vision, his evaluation at Millwood, and I need to squeeze a dental visit in there. I also have a plethora of doctor appointments. We also plan on doing some camping (hopefully) and then the O'Brien reunion is right around the corner in July. It will be nice to see the O'Briens from the other side of the state. Kevin & Katie's wedding celebration is also in July, however we are not positive if we'll be able to make that one. Ian and I are going to try and get into a baby aquatics class in July too. We also want to make visits to Splash Down, Millwood Park, and Cat Tales for the E Man.
August seems to be a bit more mellow at this point. Hopefully I will be able to use those last 4 weeks or so to relax and reflect and get everything in order. I would really like to fit in a visit to the fairgrounds that one week in September but baby may have different plans. :)
Being pregnant this summer already reminds me of Seattle. I do miss it, at least in the warm weather. I miss all of the adventures and explorations Dan and I had before Ian was born. Swimming at Green Lake, trips to U-Village Jamba Juice, looking forward to visits to Spokane; all of those were terrific. I think the memory of Seattle that stands out the most for me though is being in our bedroom upstairs with the wonderful sunlight coming in the window and just being there, the two of us, hanging out, talking, laughing, loving.
