The Pat a Cake Baby is a local shop, in Post Falls, Idaho, and I would like to spread some local love. First of all, they carry the most darling baby supplies imaginable. I have been to some shabby chic shops in Seattle and Pat a Cake Baby puts them to shame.

I stopped on several different items. The stroller blankets looked so cozy and I could imagine my 3 month old Mr. A snuggling up with the Chocolate and Aqua Dots Material.

One side is a soft cotton print (the Aqua Dots) and the other is a plush minky dot fabric (the Chocolate). Heaven.Then I saw the burp cloths. The first one I noticed was the Spa Dandy Damask Burp Cloth Set.

If only I had received this as a baby shower gift last summer. You know, it's so hard to throw yourself together to go out in public right after having a baby, at least I could have a stylish cloth (instead of some heavily washed last minute towel that's gone threadbare). And it even doubles as a changing pad! Oh and I don't want to forget to mention that my husband even sat down with me to wander the website. He was partial to the Sky Wallflower Burp Cloth Set.I suppose men should have a stylish burp cloth also.


An interesting creation (I must have been out of the loop on) is the pacifier bibs! These are so darn innovative! They are reversible and include a brand new sealed binky. PERFECT for teething too since kids seem to drool all the way down to the belly button. AND I would never lose the pacifier! So Smart.
